FM
WUVT-FM operates with an effective radiated power of 6500 watts on an FM radio frequency of 90.7 MHz. Since our power increase in 2009, our transmitter facility is now located on Price Mountain; prior to that, our transmitter broadcast at 3000 watts from atop Lee Hall (now known as Hoge Hall). Our primary transmitter is a Nautel GV5, which was purchased from Nautel and installed in November 2023. Our studio mixing boards are Wheatstone IP-12 , the studio to transmitter audio link is a digital GatesAir IP Link MPXp, and the audio processor is an Orban OPTIMOD 8700. The new transmitter's installation was only made possible through the generous contributions of station alumni and donations from listeners. From everyone at the station; thank you all so much for helping keep college radio alive!
