It's the Fall semester, and that means it's time to come see what it means to be involved with WUVT at our annual organizational meeting on Friday, September 9th, in Squires Student Center's Brush Mountain Room A. The Facebook event is here, and be sure to click "Read more..." below to watch our promotional video made by Marc Secrist!
Come on out to the last WUVT event of the semester! We've got Wakes from Massachusetts and Boyscott from Tennessee, as well as a secret WUVT band? You'll probably have to show up to know what that's about.
WHEN: May 4th. Doors at 9:30 pm, show at 10. WHERE: Gillie's in downtown Blacksburg. HOW MUCH: $5.
If your life has been lacking in SPICE, then this event will make your future flavorful! Raleigh's Newman, Pittsburgh's Sikes, and Richmond's Keon are sure to bring an amazing show.
WHEN: February 26th. Doors at 9:30 pm, show at 10. WHERE: Gillie's in downtown Blacksburg. HOW MUCH: $5.
Join WUVT in our effort to spread music, art, and love! All you have to do is listen to our staff members tell you why WUVT is so great, then decide what you'd like to do to help out this semester! There's a lot to choose from: DJing, engineering, underwriting sales, music reviewing, promotion and outreach, event coordinating, IT, and news, just to name a few things you can participate in. No matter what your background or major is, you're welcome at WUVT!
As mentioned above, it's in Squires Brush Mountain B at 6:30 pm on February 4th, 2016.
