Here's a Note from Emelia Delaporte, the Current Silhouette Editor-In-Chief:

It’s that time of the semester again!

Silhouette Literary and Art Magazine is accepting submissions of poetry, prose, photography and art to our semesterly magazine. We’re also bringing in a special twist this spring – in addition to VT students, we’re also inviting VT staff, NRCC students and residents of Montgomery County to submit their work for anonymous consideration.

We accept submissions here

If you make any sort of art, you’re a creative! Silhouette prides itself on being a safe space for budding creatives to publish for the first time as well as being a favorite place for more experienced creatives to continually publish their work closer to home. Providing a place for creatives to find one another at a STEM school is one of our greatest joys!

Our submissions pool closes February 21, 2025. Be brave! What’s the worst that can happen? You get your name in a cool magazine?

Can’t wait to see your work in our inbox!
